Hard Drive help!

My 250GB hard drive is Sata.
I was thinking about getting a 500GB Sata.
How can make the 500GB be the primary drive?

The new drive should Include the program from the manufacturer
That will allow you to copy all the files from your old drive to the new one

It should be on a bootable cd dsik
Once installed ( HDD) you boot off the disk and tell the program to use all of the space on the new disk or how to partition it
Then it will clone/copy the old disk to the new one after it formats it

Once complete,
You can change the drive to the primary boot drive and test it
When all is well you can remove the old drive and or format the old drive and use it for storage or what ever you like
