Hi, all. I recently uninstalled Baldur's Gate II from my pc, but somewhere along the line, the process got messed up. The files were removed from my pc, but my computer still indicates that the game installed  . Now, when I try to uninstall or play the game, nothing happens. Can someone help me with this?

Try a System Restore?

What are you trying to do and did you use Add/Remove Programs to uninstall it? Are you trying to get the game running again or remove its traces? For the former a reinstall would seem the obvious first choice.

I was trying to uninstall the game, so that I could reinstall it later. I used Add/Remove Programs and it seemed fine afterwards, but then I noticed that it was still in the start menu(?) and in the Add/Remove Programs list. Yeah, I tried to reinstall, but the game only asks me if I want to remove the game. I tried that option but nothing happens.
BTW, thanks for trying to help. Hehe :D
sounds like something is messed up. There are programs that remove half-installed programs. CCleaner does a good job under tools. If that doesn't work you can try this, Windows Uninstall Clean up. (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301). CCleaner is probably the safer of the two.

K, I tried CCleaner, but that didn't work :(
and...
I tried Windows Install Clean Up, but that didn't even pick up that I had the game (what's left of it) on my computer
So, anyone got any more ideas? :D :D
