Generally a dll error has more to do with software. A dll is a dynamic link library file which is directing your O.S. where to find stuff. If the dll is pointing to nothing, outdated or corrupt you'll get an error.

Rundll.exe is a Visual Basic runtime program file that loads dynamic link libraries that are called up to be loaded by programs written in Visual Basic. The main cause of a rundll error is the dynamic link library that rundll.exe is trying to load is missing, damaged, or altered by a program instalation that has re-written a DLL that is used by the program that you are trying to run. A rundll error has nothing to do with memory compatibility.
