Looks like an attempt at a 'social engineering' type infection...

AVG says it removed the pest. Just to be safe, do some alternate/online (Trendmicro's Housecall...for example) scans.

wow, you might want to forward that email to support at facebook as well, or send then an email notifying them of that, or something along those lines to try and stop the spread of what's going on.
