I have four gigs of RAM. I throw the disc into the drive, start the computer, and it runs per normal. Then, at approx. 14-15 minutes it stops scanning. Why?

What does it say/do when it stops?

Nothing. The "Wall time" stops going up, and it seems like it is frozen, but it isn't. The little red cross at the top keeps still blinking.
