First of all I'm re-posting this to correct the structure of my statement and because I posted it on May 30, 2008 and there's no reply, yet...
I'm using the above laptop and recently downloaded the owners manual and found something new for me concerning the battery: "there it says that within the BIOS you can enter a feature for the system to 'learn' the quality status of the batt. and to charge it". The thing is that when I enter there to start the process the screen does not show any options to choose from and freezes there. I've read that the process takes a lot of time but nowhere says that the system will be frozen for any period of time. Does anybody has an idea of what I can expect when entering this process? Is there an alternate procedure for charging the battery? Thanks in advanced!
