Whenever I try to upload a file larger than 1 MB to my godaddy account I get the following error within about 30 seconds.

Exception of type System.Web.HttpUnhandledException was thrown.

GoDaddy support says they have no clue and tried to upload a file for me successfully and said of course that it was not there problem but Comcasts.
Of course Comcast hasn’t a clue and also denies responsibility.

I guess I will have to try another computer or ISP somehow but I sure would like to be able to manage my own website!

Thoughts?

How are you uploading the files, a provider supplied app, browser, or ftp client?

Do you have ftp access?

Have you tried a different method of uploading?

Are you saying you CAN upload files smaller than 1MB?

Yes. At approximatly 1 MB it throws that eror message. Smaller files also mp3 are no problem.

err, so you can upload files greater than 1MB if it is an MP3? It could be a binary issue. Not sure what web.http error is throwing with FTP... probably related to browser, but it could be a security/space/file type issue. Not enough info yet.

Try this link. It will bypass IE7 ut give you the same functions.

If this doesn't work you can try a free FTP program. I have used a bunch but, this one does about anything you would want and it is free:

My favorite FTP software...

One other thing...make sure that the time/date on your machine are correct. I've seen transfers fail when the date was off...
