The only thing I'm seeing on MS is for VB 2008...but the 2006 stuff has to be there, somewhere, MS is a packrat when it comes to downloads...with proper searching you can still d/l stuff for win3.1.

I no longer have it installed, but as I remember it is offered during windows updates.

And I think there is an option somewhere in the menus to download and install the latest version. But since it's been awhile since I had it installed I couldn't tell you where.

I will warn just in case you haven't yet installed VB, with a full install it will need to place about 6GB of files on the C drive. Unfortunately there is no getting around it. You can get it it install some stuff on other partitions but it insists on putting some of it on the system partition. I was rather upset because I had to make my windows partition bigger to accommodate.

Honestly I will never install it on my main system again. I did things to my system that I didn't like. It replaces a lot of system files. I recommend installing it on a separate windows install just for development work. Boot into it when you want to work on VB.
