Hi.
I currently use an Epson stylus Photo R230 printer for CD/DVD printing.
I have a collection of some 371 CD label files(so far), and am now starting to wonder what happens to them if the 230 printer dies.

Does anyone know if any other Epson printer uses the same CD file format, or perhaps any other Epson printer which can re-use the .ec3 file format, so that I can re-print any of these old CD/DVD labels in the future if I had to replace the 230 printer?

From looking around, it seems that at one point in time Epson may have had a utility to work with those files independent of the printer software, but it doesn't seem to be available any longer

The only thing i can think of, is if the software that you use to manipulate the label files allow you to open the file and edit it, is to use that to save them in another format...jpegs or png.
