I've read through maybe 10 different ISC threads, here and there on the net. And I have yet to connect to the ISC notebook I set up. I've enabled the sharing and all. Yet I can't get it to work. For now, can you people answer my questions.

1)I have a notebook with a built in wireless card, and I use the wireless card to connect to a wireless access pooint. Then I enable ISC on that notebook, will others be able to connect to it? Because I can't get it to work. I'm connected wirelessly to the modem/router btw.

2)Do I need a router to set up ISC. I just recently bought one, and I'm wondering if I should return it or not, because I'm not sure if it's needed. I just want to connect my brothers PSP to my ISC notebook.

3)I haven't done this yet, but can I connect the router directly to my ISC notebook, and still establish a internet connection. I don't have access to the modem, because I get my internet wireless through another wireless access point. I just want to set up ISC, so the signal may be better in my area. Since my brothers PSP signal is rather weak, I wanted to improve those signals by using a router connecter through ISC. Is this possible?

4)My cousin has dial up and is wondering if he can set up a dial up ISC network in his house. I've read about it before, and I've tried to do it at his house, yet I run into problems there also. I'm no networking person sadly. So can someone tell me how to setup a dial up ISC network also.

These are my questions for now. Please help in any way you guys can, I've tried setting a ISC network the last few das, and it's getting frustrating. Thanks.

Ok...what does the wireless access point connect to?

What kind of internet service you have?

Make/model of the wireless access point...make/model of the router.

Number and what kind of devices you want to connect...and how you want them connected. Do you want all of them to be able to access the Internet? each other?

The access point is a modem, Actiontec I believe, and it's under USfamily I think also. Not quite sure, but I've checked it before and that's what it was. USfamily is connected to AT&T I think, not sure though. That's the access point I use. Well, the modem is the access point, because it has built in wireless. I don't know the model though, least not atm. I'll see if I can get it though. I just want to connect my brother's PSP to it first.
