I just bought a new pc. It has an integrated graphics card, so I bought a better one for gaming. It's an EVGA E-GForce 8600GT. The motherboard that is in the pc is a p5lp-le. Do I have to disable the integrated graphics card when I install the 8600. If so, how do I do that? I've never added a graphics card to a pc before so this is probably a dumb question. Sorry I'm a newb.

normaly no. Just install ther grafic card and connect the monitor to the new card. If that dosent work, connect the monitor the the onbord IGP and go to the bios setup and look for a option like "primary video" or somthing simular.

Putting the 8600GT in the PCI-E slot automatically disables the onboard video, no problem.
