Failed connection

My broadband wireless connection, from Tiscali, failed after 24 hours. The icon says wireless connection unpluged. Tiscal say it must be a card in my pc as their connection shows broadband to working fine. What card will they be talking about anybody know please?
The communications with tiscali is difficult but i wont get into that on a public domain.

Have you tried rebooting?

yes ive reinstalled the wireless adapter and rebooted the router
