I also got a new Radeon HD 4670 Video Card, while the price is right, it has given me fits since installing, at first run it worked great, then up a restart, I'm constantly thrown into SAFE Mode. Now I ahve taken it out and am back to the stock card.

I currently am using the Invidia GE Force 6150SE nforce 430 AMD Athlon Dual Core 4200, vista with 4 gigs of ram.

I pulled what I thought was the latest driver from here
http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx?p=vista32/common-vista32

Any thoughts or should I be looking for a different card??

It looks like that's a 32-bit driver. Are you running 32 bit vista or 64 bit vista? You may need a 64-bit driver.

Did you uninstall any and all video drivers and disable your previous video device before installing this one? There could be a software conflict.

What is the wattage of your power supply? It is possible that you don't have enough power to run the card properly.

It is also possible that your card is defective. Give AMD/ATI a call and see what they have to say about it.

Very low powered card...so unless it's a really cheap PSU, then it is low on the list...

High on the list...double check the drivers, like has been suggested.
