Hey Guys,
I am running X.P.Home edition and SP3 comes up as an upgrade.My old XP has been going for years, no trouble.I have had some hiccoughs since downloading SP3 and suspect it to be the cause.Question is, "Is there any advantage in having SP3 on XP home?".
Microsoft Genuine advantage was a bit of a pain too.

Other than the roll up of all the security fixes between SP 2 and the release of SP 3...not much. It does tune some services and on some systems it speeds them up slightly (on others it seems to slow them down...go figure).
