My laptop wn't turn on without battery.

Ok i dun have a battery and am planning to use my laptop with the AC power cable. But it just doesn't turn on y is this? My AC cable is working perfectly, wat should I do?

Most laptops do function with just the ac-to-dc power supply and no battery since that allows one to swap batteries when one gets to a warning low state without the danger of losing one's work.
