Aspire One Upgrade

Guys any one know if I can upgrade RAM and DH of this Unit I just got one and I wanted to run on dual boot XP & Vista.

Yes, it is possible to upgrade the RAM...

No, it is not easy and if it is done after the sale/not by the original vendor, it will void the warranty. This is because in order to upgrade the RAM the machine needs to be nearly completely disassembled.

thanks for the reply. is it normal RAM like anyother laptop?? how about the HD I can't find detail specs in the net

What option did you get it with...the 80GB hard drive or the 8 Gb Flash drive?

I got 120gb HD and 1GB Ram options

Well...to upgrade the RAM you will have to remove the existing add-in stick. As to the drive...not sure what the upper limit is, but it too is not easily accessed.

Does it use a normal Laptop Drive and RAM... I heard from someone that HD is smaller than normal laptop

I think it is a 1.8"...but I'm not sure. Can't find all that many detailed specs.
