NO BIOS - need help

Hello every1 , lm new here .

l have major problem :
After flashing BIOS on my ASUS K8NE ,˙comp only goes to Press CTRL + S or F4 to enter RAID utility and then freezes . Second problem is , that there is no BIOS ( cant enter to ), POST screen , nothing. No matter what l do , there is no response. l cleared CMOS , try to pull out RAM , disconnect harddisks . Even before flashing BIOS l couldnt enter BIOS , there was no POST screen , but windows worked normally . Thank u for any information and have a nice day

If there were no BIOS you wouldn't even get to the RAID setup...

BIOS setup is not the same thing as the BIOS.

From the sounds of it, you have at least some functionality out of the board, so it may be possible to flash it again...making sure you have the correct BIOS file for the exact revision number of your board...

Do you have the Asus install CD?

The original .rom file for the board should be on it and CrashFree/ExFlash should be able to find it, but you will need to read up on the Asus documentation on those features to know exactly how to get them to work. Yeah, Asus has made it harder to kill a board by having a bad flash, but recovery isn't all that easy.

l tried to flash mobo back with original files , but no success . Like l said , before flashing , windows work perfectly altought l didnt get in BIOS (weird ) If l could only remove this RAID utility screen manualy somehow . Once l dissassemble whole computer , take all apart and put it together and it worked . But now , l really dont know what to do more . l will try more and will report here .

l manage somehow to bypass RAID utility ( Alt + CTRL + ESC ) , now Windows starts normaly with RAID screen , but l still cant access to BIOS to set some things . Any idea ? When l turn on computer , there is just blue cursor ( _ ) blinking and screen is black , then windows starts .
