Fixing bent pins on a CPU

Hi, I recently removed the heatsink from my cpu/motherboard. but in doing so the cpu came off with the heatsink and some of the pins were slightly bent. If I bend the pins back to the upright position and attach it back to the mobo with heatsink will it still work, or have I just killed my CPU?

As long as you didn't snap any off completely, it should work fine.

Yea, use a razor razor blade or two (be careful!) and get some good lighting and with a steady hand and as long as they don't snap off, you're good to go!
