Hey guys Im going to be building a quad core intel computer. What chipset should i get? im going to be using it for making music and gaming. I see that x48 is the best, should i get this? could i still use ddr2 ram instead of ddr3 on these MB's? thanks

DDR2 can be used. It's cheaper than DDR3. What's your budget? I built a dual-core PC last weekend and plan to upgrade it to quad-core a few years later.
