Set up VPN

Hallo there,

I m trying to set up a VPN, but I need help, because I m not familiar with these stuff.
First of all,.. I have a laptop running Windows XP SP2 (which is going to be my VPN server)
I have an ADSL modem, Speedtouch 530
And the VPN client is going to be at the office (running Windows XP SP2).

I googled it and I realised that I have to:
a) make a new network connection on VPN server (I did that)
b) configure the adsl modem (pptp at 1723 port? but how?..)
c) configure the VPN client

Basically, I cannot understand how to configure the ADSL modem!!

Can anyone help me with detailed steps if possible?
