I'd like to know what happens if you have a power supply that is too weak, such as the power supply is 200W while you need 300W due to the equipment such as videocard, motherboard etc. What would happen?
Worst case...things die.
Usually the machine doesn't boot.

Is it possible that any of the computer components will be damaged? Or will the power supply be damaged?
Worst case...yes.
But usually, they just won't power up.
Yes, it overloads the power supply and it is the most likely item to be damaged. But, when a power supply goes, it's never a pretty sight. No two power supplies go the same way. Some yell and scream, some go quietly, some explode, some implode, but all will try to take something else with them.

A good and adequate PSU is a good investment. A bad and inadequate PSU is a nightmare that can cost you lots.
