Hi,
Probably not possible but would just like to ask if you think (or know) if it is possible to use my scanner to transfer photographic slides onto my pc with a view to printing off my own photo's.
I've had a play but without success but would like to know if there was a method by which this could be done.
Your patience is appreciated.

Your scanner can't scan slides and film unless there is a light that projects all the way through it. There are scanners with adapters for slides, as well as purpose-built models. Other than the light resolution is also key. Given the smaller size of slides, you need a high resolution scanner for good results.

If you're lucky you might be able to buy an adapter for your current scanner, but I suspect you might just be out of luck. You can find more information here: http://www.newegg.com/product/CategoryIntelligenceArticle.aspx?articleId=217

You may not get good enough quality but you could try projecting them onto a wall or screen and then take photos of the images with a digital camera.
