Hi guys, i need help.

my desktop pc are old(2,26 Ghz Pentium 4, 512MB DDR, 80Gb ATA, onboard 64MB VGA). I'm planning to upgrade to today's spec, i need advice from the experts.

my budget are about $500-$600, what i need is a CPU without monitor and speaker cause i already have a 19" HDTV Ready monitor and a usable speaker.

what i need :

- motherboard that supports ddr3 memory(hopefully supports both ddr2 and ddr3 memory), and with SLI or CrossFire Ready.

- graphic adapter that can handle latest next-gen games including Far Cry 2, GTA 4, Crysis, etc.

- 500 GB SATA2 Internal Hard Drive.

- and other components to complete a brand new CPU.

Please help me....
i need detailed spec....

Thanks A Lot!!!

Okay, with what I get from your post, you are basically going to need a completely new build minus the monitor. A gaming system on that budget isn't much of a gaming system. You are going to need to upgrade every part of your existing system. Do you think you could increase your budget a little? I would suggest if you want to play those games that you look to save $1000. That will give you an acceptable machine to work with.

Also, I believe you are using the abbreviation CPU incorrectly. A CPU is the computer proccessor, not the name for the system as a whole.
