Only google chrome browser works

So I've noticed that the only internet software or program that will work on my PC is Google Chrome. If I start Mozilla, or IE Explorer, It says I have to check my Firewall settings. I've messed with the settings, turned off firewall, uninstalled chrome, nothing seems to work. Even If i try to run an installer that needs to access the internet, it will not let me. Please help, thanks.

Are you running Zone Alarm? It killed my connectivity as well. I had to update to the latest version before Firefox and IE started working again.

Please clear all the temp internet files cache, offline files, cookies. Then try to work with internet explorer and Firefox. This may work.
The other thing is firewall is not properly installed and it does not recognize the internet explorer and Firewall to access the internet connection.
Please check that and allow firewall for these.
