Hi
I just got given a bag of old floppies and they are 2 MB capacity.
I just wondered why they only seem to come in a 1.44 MB format these days??
.. from Bob (in UK) ..
Some info on floppy drives in general... http://www.pcguide.com/ref/fdd/index-c.html. And yes these days 1.44Mb are about all you find, I don't think that 2MB was a PC format, 360k, 720k, 1.44MB and 2,88MB....they were pretty much the standard sizes.
