About videocards (with a fan): if you use them normally (no overclocking), how long can you use them approximately?
If kept clean and the fan dusted out regularly...longer than the card is going to be useful, software-wise.
The fans will last about five or so years, and then it would be a matter of replacing it to get even more out of card.
As for physical operation, a card that is kept clean could last twenty five years or more...the thing is the upper limit for most computer electronics has been reached yet, even a large number of the original IBM PCs are still electronically capable of working, they just aren't worth the effort to run them.
