Boot Problem After BIOS Update

Hello everyone!

After a BIOS update, when vista in booting up it stops on the following message:

chainloader /bootmgr

The only way I can get it to load correctly is by hitting enter randomly a few times before this message appears.....:confused: :confused:

You could try installing and running VistaBootPro (http://www.vistabootpro.org/) - but no guarantees.

I did a BIOS update so that my motherboard could support my new Q6600 quad core. And I did it through the ASUS update software.

I'll have a look at VistaBootPro but for my now, I still have no idea why my pc boots the way it does...
