Registry Puzzler

Lately, i've been poking around in the registry....and i've encountered something puzzling...i went in the winlogon and added the values for popping a banner upon startup...it worked for a while, and then for some reason it stopped lately. i checked the code, its still there...any comments? http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/confused.gif

No idea. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif There are sites that cover registry hacking in almost nauseating detail though. Could be that some software changed something, programs are always mucking in there.
