I am trying to install a new video card -- GeForce 6200 256MB DDR AGP8x manufactured by PNY and purchased in europe.

My old video card had a 4 pin standard molex connector for the power supply. The new card has a 2 pin connector. How do I connect the new card? Can I purchase an adapter?? Any idea what the new connector type is? (Picture attached).

The manufacturer's website is somewhat oblique: under system requirements it says"Two hard disk drive power dongles off of separate power supply cable bundles (smaller floppy disk drive connector is not sufficient):

that two pin is not for power, you can just plug that straight into your MOBO and it will be fine.

The two pin i think is for a fan but it doesn't look like your particular model has/needs one so all is ok ;)

Minimum System Requirements
Intel Pentium® III, AMD Duron™ or Athlon™ class processor or higher
128MB system RAM
A 300W system power supply
An AGP 2.0 (or higher) compliant motherboard
50MB of available hard disk space
CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive
Microsoft® Windows® 98, ME, 2000, XP, or Vista™
VGA or DVI-I compatible monitor

by the looks of it, it doesn't need an external power

Thanks-- Plugged it in to mother board, fired it up, and it works great.
