i have Windows Vista 32 bit and i have 2 x 1 Stick of 1 GB RAM installed .. now when i go under control panel it says 4 GB ram ... can someone tell me what is going on maybe

what dose the post say when you start the pc, if you have a prefab (a pc you buy in a store not one you build yourself) it might just have a company splash at boot up. in this case press the button, usually F1, F2, or DEL, to enter settup and look there for RAM size ore simular.
