I just bought a Blu-ray burner for my PC so I could back up collection digitally. I just bought "The Bank Job" and ripped it to my computer. The playback and sound are all perfect, but it is in French instead of English.

Playing from the disk itself, though, is in English. What do you think could be the problem?

I used anydvd to rip and powerdvd 8 to playback.

um.. check the "setup" menu in the Blue-ray main menu.

there should be a language tool there...

There is no main menu just the movie, trailers and ads.

Check in AnyDVD and make sure you are ripping the correct audio track...many times movie disks (DVD, BluRay, etc) have multiple audio tracks, including the 'alternates'...usually French and Spanish. English may not always be Audio Track 1.

reverted to 4.12.4 on daemon and everything works now. I don't know what is with the new version, but the old one works.
