Weird download problem?

When i download from sites such as microsoft and intel, the download speed becomes 235KB/S Average. I did a speed test at dsl reports, i got 243KB/S speed(download). But when i download from sites other than microsoft and intel the download speed falls to ~23Kb/s, sometimes it stays on ~64Kb/s for a little while then falls down again. Whats wrong with my connection.

This can be a bad node between your PC and the server on the site you are downloading from.
Have you tried a tracert check to see if there is a bad hop?

Of course your speed also depends on the speed of the servers on the site accessed.
