ok so I finally upgraded to a laptop from my old, slow as hell HP.
I bought a new HP Pavillion..its pretty nice , considering Ive been on this thing ha.
This is the new piece http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9077125&type=product&id=1218016497030

So anyways we are looking to cut costs, and I think were going to cut our cable. So, I was looking for alternatives and i found out about the whole internet-TV thing. its pretty awesome it looks like! 3,000 channels all for a one time price! This is what I saw http://www.online-shopping-101.com/freetv.html
So I figured if we buy that (or an alternative but same thing..idk is this a smart thing to do?)
I want to be able to watch those channels on my tv too. So I was reading up on a PC-to-TV adapter. I was thinking hell, I can buy the program for $100 bucks and get the adapter for like $50? idk.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to what I need to do or if my laptop can even do all of this? I know a fair amount about computers I just am pretty new to all of this.

Thanks Guys!!

First bumping your own post after less than an hour tends to put people off...

Second, most of us have other things to do during the days and researching this particular company is taking some time.

Most of these companies are frauds from the word go. Yes, you do get a box that can receive satellite signals, but in order to actually use it, you either need to pay for a subscription or you are getting pirated DishNetwork/DirectTV signals.

The loops involved in the research on this thing are leading me to believe that this one also falls into the 'fraud' category.
