internet shuts off

hi, my internet shuts off unexpectadly every minute or so non stop.
is there a idle optiion i missed? im on windows xp sp1.

What model router/WAP?

my model router is westell versalink 327W , ya wap.
i have 2 comps on wireless after i reset my router 1 comp works fine
the other keeps disconnecting me randomly. pretty frustrating
