I have a wireless network running X P home on 2 computers, and vista home on a laptop. The printer is connected to a desktop running XP Home.. How do I access that printer from the laptop running Vista?

We need more information, is the printer connected via parallel, or USB or network? What make and model printer?

It is connected to the computer via of USB and is a HP c4480. The computer that the printer is connected to is conected to internet via Netgear wireless router.
All computers are recognized when I use "view computers on workgroup", and I am able to share printer on the other desktop with the laptop, and those two computers talk to each other like t hey should, but will not talk to the "Host".

Is the driver you are using the 11.0.0 one?

Are the two "other" compuers two desktops or a desktop and a laptop?
I'm not sure of the relevance of the 11.0.0 driver but Vista will just about certainly need different drivers than XP. Go to printers from control panel and add new printer and follow the wizard for a printer attached to another PC. When prompted provide the Vista drivers. When sharing from XP to XP (if that is what had been happening OK) you don't need to provide separate drivers as a rule.
