Hey guys, Ive will be at the start of new year debt free so i wanna lay down some cash and buy myself a new rig. My current rig is

Asrock conroe 1333 board
2 GB ram 667
8600gts 512mb
core 2 2.4
500 Psu
232 HDD
19" monitor flat panel

I want a complete new system that will completly kick my curent rig out the compatition but nothing that will set me back thousounds.
Also it neds to be future proof, i dont mind not having all the latest bits as long as i can upgrade in the future. I wanna be able to have a heafty amouth of ram, sli gpu, maybe even 3 gpu(only one for ow thoughbut to have the ability for in the future), you all no what i mean, you anit stupid lol

*Also it needs to be able to play GTA4 as well as possible withought costing me and arm and a leg
*I m starting from scratch so everying , even the mouse and keyboard and monitor

So ill leave it open to suggestion and if you could right down some complete rigs that would serve me well it would be much appriciated

*I dont really have a buget as such,
Lets say this, my curent rig cost me £450 last march so hopfuly with the price drop of new stuff becoming old i should be able to get a great system for same price and add a few hunded upto, £500-£600 but im not sure on how the prices are at the moment.

Basicly cheaper the better but take it into consideration of what my requirements are.

DONE

-----------

Your system is not sufficiently old enough to be replaced outright, nor does it need to be since the mobo is not maxed-out. But more importantly, you didn't give yourself enough of a budget for a full replacement. Significantly better hardware that would blow that system away is far too expensive for your tiny budget. Add to that the fact that gaming performance is 70% dependent on the vid card! Your 8600 GTS is a slide rule compared to the Radeon HD 4870!

Do the smart thing. Upgrade for now; replace in another 18 months.
