Hey guys,

Been having a few problems off late with pc slowing down & not being able to right click on items in the start menu,not being able to open the task manager until all programs in the taskbar are closed.So I checked the task manager and noticed a process called iexplore.exe running when I don't even have internet explorer open (I don't even use it).Also randomly,an IE window opens by itself with numerous tabs and has to be stopped.Else,other windows of IE open!

I have copy pasted a HJT log.Maybe someone can help me out :)

It is best to download the tools on a known clean machine and store them on some form of portable storage, such as a USB memory stick or to burn them onto a CD (A CR-RW will work just fine). Then transfer them to the problem machine and run them as directed. This is especially helpful in cases of browser redirection or problematic internet connectivity.

Also disable any programs that may provide 'resident protection' to prevent changes to the registry, like, but not limited to, Spybot's TeaTimer.
First:

How to run a scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here (http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe) or Here (http://www.majorgeeks.com/Malwarebytes_Anti-Malware_d5756.html)

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Note)
The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts.
Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process.
If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

Then post the log here.

I don't agree entirely here. I am fine with using a CD as long as it has been finalized. A CD-RW or more-so, a memory stick flash drive, is more prone to being able to be written to and so a virus or other malware can go silently about it's business.

Downloading with a clean machine? Yes. Putting a flash drive back into said machine is risky business IMO for all except for those (peeps) above 'amateur' status. This is why I recommend 'read-only' media or to for4mat each diagnostic drive immediately upon it's return.
