Greetings once more friends!
I was having some problem with an msn virus and with help I solved this problem ( A LOT OF HELP I MIGHT ADD) In the process of solving this something is heppening with IE when I try to use a chat room. I can enter the chat room with no problem I can send private messages, I can switch rooms , I can look for other users. I CAN NOT TYPE ANY TEXT IN THE PUBLIC BOARD ( where everybody can read what the others are saying) there should be a clear bar where one type and the this goes to the board. The bar does not appear. It was ok until 2 days ago when I started following the steps to get rid of the msn virus. The curious thing is if I use firefox I have no problem at all. Sorry to bother you , any help will be appreciated as always.

It may be a side effect of being infected.

There are some, not many, chatrooms that will prevent you from doing anything if you have signs of certain infections. Especially on the 'public' boards.

Also, there is a chance that one of the changes made to remove the infection has changed the security settings of IE so that the chatroom doesn't work.

At this point, I'd say stick with FF...it is less vulnerable to the specific type infection that started you on this road.
