OK Gang, I know how dangerous it is to muck with the registry...I would like to change (or get rid of) the annoying title that an old ISP has written into the title of Internet Explorer (5.5). I'm using Win 95(a) and I've gone as far as actually locating the string in the reg (using regedit) that shows the title as it is now...my question is do I select it then try to edit it or do I have to add a new string? Thanks in advance...Jerry

Just right-click one time on the string in the right side of the regedit window. You should have the option to modify, select that and change it how you please.

Start Regedit and go to the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,
on the right pane, double-click on the value name Window Title and enter your preferred title.

If you had everything...Where would you put it?

Thanks Fraelorn and Paleo. It was just too simple. Just one of those annoying things to look at...I had watched Leo Laporte on The Screensavers do it, but wanted to be 100%...Thanks again-Jerry
