Last night as I installed Avast free (Norton IS expires in 4 days) on my first home build computer the scan stopped running and said: 05\Documents and Settings\Tom\Local Settings\Temp\ImInstaller\incredimail_installer.ex e is infected by Win32:Adware-gen [Adw]. I was given several options to repair it, move it, delete it, or continue, etc. I tried to repair it but got Repair: Error 42060. "The file was not repaired". I then tried to delete it....and I'm not sure it was deleted....think so, but not sure.
Could I run HJT and post the log to make certain? This computer is also slowing down for some reason. And another program is not acting right.
