I have an old P75 with a working CD Rom and sound. I have all the drivers for the CD & Sound. I formatted my old drive and put W-95 on it via CD with no problems. Now, as I try to get my sound, I'm a little hung up. Please help with the sound problem.

Try to be a bit more specific, really don't know what the problem is without a description of what's happening or not happening.

The specific problem is that my sound is not working. I believe I loaded the drivers correctly but, I'm still not getting any sound. All the connection are good as nothing was changed prior to formatting the HD and loading Windows 95.

Check in Device Manager for conflicts, if none exist, remove the card from Device Manager and let Windows reinstall it, and check to be sure the speakers are plugged into the correct plug, and the power is turned on, etc. Not trying to make you sound dumb, but often the easiest and most obvious gets overlooked. Re-installing the drivers might help if no conflicts show up in Device Manager. Conflicts will show as a yellow "!" beside the device.
I would boot into Safe Mode and remove it from Device Manager, reboot and let Windows find and install it again.

Also check and make sure your speakers didn't go out. It may just just a coincidence, but it has happened before. Try plugging your speakers into a small radio (the headphones jack) and see if they still give you sound. A walkman would have the same effect.
A test for your sound card, try plugging a set of headphones into the green jack, or the speaker jack on the sound card, then play some sort of game, or windows-based sound (ie, windows startup, shutdown, etc). This will tell you if your drivers are installed correctly, or if not. Same goes for the speakers. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/cool.gif
