Can't Access a URL

New guy with first questions.

Here is my problem. Note that I have troubleshot with with both my wireless network and hardwired connection.

Bottom line: I cannot access a favorite website that I always could before.

I can access all other web sites.

The only software that I installed recently was: Garmin connection s/w and software to install a smart card reader and the associated software.

As I mentioned, I can access all sites but Midway USA.
Others have been able to access, so it is not the web site itself.

Any ideas????

The site needs javascript enabled but maybe you are getting some other specific message ??

You might want to try with an alternative browser such as Chrome (if running WinXP or above) or Mozilla Firefox if you are currently trying with Internet Explorer.

Either something is blocking the domain name or redirecting it but it can be accessed by its IP address.

Just as mjc asked, what firewalls do you have running? Also have you tried Chrome and/or Firefox to see if the problem is replicated there.

The other place to check is Internet Explorer's Tools > Internet Options > Security and see if any domains have been added to the restricted sites zone. You could also try adding http://www.midwayusa.com/ to the trusted sites zone.

Finally called the ISP.

I just changed providers and networks.

They said it is probably a DNS issue with Comcast and they should have it fixed in a day or so.
