Well, for most of you, this is the "Christine" car, even though in the Stephen King book, it is a '57 Plymouth Fury if I remember correctly...
Anyway, I see that within the last year or so, they exhumed one from a grave in Tulsa, and I have been watching all the vid I can find about this tonight.
Being something of a classic-car fan, I was very disappointed and somewhat saddened that "Christine" did not survive(in all it's 57 glory) the 50-year burial. It would have been fantastic if it had survived, and to be fair, it probably would have, had the tomb not flooded due to non-waterproof designs. If H2O had not got in there, it probably would have been close to perfect as the day they sealed it in there.
I have just finished watching a very good doco thing on the unveiling.
Kinda old now, being more then 12 months since it was aired, but surely a good vid to watch for any classic-car fan from anywhere in the world.

NOTE!: 41 Minutes in length...
I would love to be able to save this vid, but saving the webpage does not save the vid. If anyone knows how...
TO USA MEMBERS: How are the stocks of '57 Plymouth Belvedere's these days? I, like most fans of the Christine movie, like the look of these cars, but they seem to be getting something of a rarity these daze now with all the boring and unstylish Toyotas and Subaru's on the road...(no offense to those who drive them - I'm old-school is all!)
