I am using an En-genius wireless router and i am trying to connect my laptop to it. When i use windows to manage the wifi it asks for a network key (WEP or WPA key) i dont know what to type in, i have tried my wireless password and a few other things.

If i use intel to manage the wifi it asks for a device ownership password, which again i do not know what to put in then it asks for the password key and has a big long code in it.

Any help would be appreciated, oh and i know the internet works because i easily connected to my other friends wireless internet

i have tried my wireless passwordWhere did you get this from. It is normally set in the router's wifi settings. You can choose a number of different keys there (dependent on the router in question); WEP or WPA/WPA2 or WPAPSK/WPA2PSK being common ones. Choose one and set a new password or passphrase (or turn off security temporarily) and then use the relevant setting in Windows to enter the new password when connecting wirelessly to the router. You will probably need a wired connection to set up the router initially.
