This time it is the case of eBooks that no longer work:

Sort of like publishers who could later erase the text of the book they sold you.
This action is the exact reason
I opted for Audio books (Downloads)
Then burnt them to cd's
I'm not sure if they will work in the future off of the disk images from my backups
But I still have the cd's that work in any of my players if they won't

yet another reason never to pay for an ebook. Get them from the DC Public Online Library. Anyone can get a card...or at least an ID. Little bit of a hassle, but its legal, its free and there ain't thing one DRM jerkholes can do about it.
