What's everyone's favorite web browser? I like minefield, because it's ridiculously fast. but Firefox apps don't all work with it : /
I guess I'm asking because I just sorta want to know what the computer masters use :p

This is basically Firefox 3.1 beta, yep it is really fast.
Currently using Firefox 3.0.5, occasionally Opera latest version, and have to use IE for work.
:D
I'm pretty much using 'vanilla' FF these days...I've been a FF user since long before it was actually FF and Mozilla from back when there were a couple of zeros in the version string (at the beginning of the string...). I think I've done my share of running 'pre-release' builds...:D

FF 3.0.5 and Chrome about 50:50 here. One can only fully judge Minefield's speed when it is no longer being tested.

Is Netscape Navigator still available? Is anybody still using it? I don't, but I recall at one time it was the only real competition to IE.

No, the original Netscape was bought by AOL, who did nothing with it. They stopped all support for it last year.
AOL pushed out a custom version of IE, and the Netscape developers were spun over to Mozilla Foundation.

The real masters use whichever browser came bundled with the OS. They know that even the most high-speed, low-drag browser really only amounts to an HTML viewer.
I use FF in linux and IE in windows. To me there is no such thing as a vulnerability or virus, and I sometimes don't even use AV software.

Firefox 3 with no squint addon
Flock for quick blogging and to view sites in a different browser.
BTW if you want to view your website in any browser for free go HERE (http://browsershots.org)and submit your site. It takes about 30 mins depending on how many browsers you've ticked, as they use lots of helpers to return your info. But it's great for checking if your visitors can view your site properly.
