Hi all. I posted this problem about 4-6 months ago. I never got it resolved, however I did find a quick fix.
My problem is that when playing World of Warcraft over a wireless network I get "mini-freezes" during gameplay. My lag stays between 100-250 ms which is not too bad so I do not think it has to do with in game lag. The quick fix that worked for me before was just using a wired connection. It cured it completely. However, now I cannot use that as an option because my computer is too far away to be connected that way (it is still in the same room as the router but my wife :) does not want ethernet cables all over the room).
Anyways, I have a WRT54G wireless linksys router. I also have a USB wireless receiver for the PC that I play WoW on. The mini-freezes I'm talking about are very annoying. It usually occurs when I'm casting a spell or just moving around in the world. It lasts about 2-5 seconds but thats enough to die in WoW as you all probably know.
Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated!
(Oh just remembered...last time someone recommended a firmware update and I did that so I know that didn't solve the problem.)
