Actually, this subfoarum (PC World) isn't the place...I'll move the post.

AfterHours is the more appropriate place to post intros.

WELCOME!!!

I'm sure that if you stick around here, you will find that your computer knowledge will soar compared to if you don't. To start, ASK QUESTIONS.

There are some very clever cookies here, and they are all willing to help you for FREE!!!!

The PC Guide Forums are NOT your typical "PC Geek" forums - they(PC Guide) are a very friendly place to learn, and no-one gets nasty if someone asks a basic question, which many other forums are guilty of.

Moderators keep everyone in line, and unlike MANY other forums that have mods, the mods on PC Guide really DO moderate, and abusive members and/or spamming is very quickly policed here, so feel free to ask questions without fear of ridicule from other members.

Provided you stick to the rules of the forums, I think you will really enjoy being here, so please do stick around. :)

I tend to make it as much of a religion as I can to post results, and even just to say that the problem has been solved when it has been by way of suggestions from other members. That is not pandering to their ego, it is simple courtesy in my mind. :)

So, "Welcome aboard" and I hope you enjoy the cruise.
;)

Welcome Jay. I'm a TF2 junkie myself. On steam I'm currently listed as Captain Smollett.
