Choosing the wrong people to scam

Reading the news, I could not help but smile when it noted that the infamous Mr. Madoff had taken money from the Russian mob and drug traffickers. Now I have just a hunch they are less forgiving than everyone else that fell into his trap.

He may be under house arrest right now, but all the people he crossed are happy to cause him an "accident".
The Russian mob will wish the accident to be fatal, getting ripped off is bad for their image.

Now if they could just extradite him to Turkey or Russia....

I saw a documentary about them
they Offered a small nuclear device to an undercover agent for a price
If they have nukes then that makes them extremely dangerous
They could easily hire a Hit Squad to kill Mr. Madoff
