Hi there. I am switching from cable to dsl and would like to delete my current home network. I want to set up a whole new one. I am using a linksys router

What type of internet connection you have has nothing to do with your home network.

If you have shared folders you no longer want to share go into that folders properties and un-share it.

Sorry if I am totally missing your question.

If you can give us some more details about your network and what it is that you want to accomplish it would help us to give better advice.

Version of windows on each machine (xp pro, home, vista?)? How many machines?

Sorry if the question wasn't clear. I have a home wireless network set up called danandkelly. i want to completely eliminate that network and set up a brand new one. How do I delete the danandkelly network connection and start from scratch. The network is set up on a XP computer

Just press the Reset button on the Linksys router for 20 seconds. That should return all settings to defaults.
You set up the router just like you did before except you may need to enter pppoe if used by your DSL provider.
